What's the minimum rental?
5 nights. This vehicle is built for real trips, not overnighters. Most guests book 7–14 nights.
Where do I pick up?
Louisville, Colorado (between Denver and Boulder). I'll do a full in-person walkthrough before you leave — typically 60–90 minutes covering every system on the vehicle.
Do I need a special license?
No. A standard driver's license is all you need. The F-550 drives like a big truck — it takes some getting used to, but nothing unusual. I'll make sure you're comfortable before you leave.
Is it available year-round?
Yes. The vehicle is four-season capable with diesel heating, freeze-protected plumbing, and dual-pane windows. Winter trips to southern Utah or New Mexico are spectacular. I'll help you plan around conditions.
What about insurance?
Comprehensive rental insurance is included in your booking. You're fully covered for the duration of your trip.
Can I take it off-road?
Absolutely — that's what it's built for. Maintained forest roads, BLM land, graded dirt roads are all fair game. I'll talk through your route and flag anything to be aware of. No rock crawling or deep water crossings.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before pickup. 50% refund 14–30 days out. No refund within 14 days. Weather-related changes handled case by case.
How does fuel work?
You pick it up with a full tank of diesel and return it full. The vehicle has a 95-gallon dual tank system, so range is excellent — typically 600+ miles per fill.
